We are an independent fabric, wool and haberdashery shop located in Brookmans Park, Hertfordshire. We are located between Potters Bar and Hatfield and only 7 miles from the M25. Having worked in retail all our lives we were very excited to develop our business in 2019 with our own bricks and mortar shop, allowing us to establish a creative community hub, something we felt that the local craft community and the area needed as a whole.

We have created a sociable environment with a friendly and relaxed atmosphere that we hope makes everyone, even non-crafters, feel welcome.

We stock a large range of wool, fabrics and haberdashery along with commercial and independent patterns. We stock a wide selection of fabrics suitable for patchwork quilting and dressmaking, and wools for all types of knitting and crochet to meet a whole variety of project needs. We are very happy to assist our customers in finding their perfect item from our range of suppliers too. We pride ourselves on our customer-focused and personal service - just ask us, we love to help!

We have a genuine love and interest in sewing, knitting, crochet and all kinds of other crafting, and love seeing projects from beginning to end. We’re always keen to see 'makes' from our customers and we regularly share stories from our loyal and friendly client base who inspire us and who we love having a chat with! If you haven't got the sewing or knitting bug, or want to learn a new skill, we also run workshops in all types of crafting.
